Newborn 2009-08-04

After almost 6 hours they were finally here. Miisa have been so big, so big we suspected a big litter but it ended up with 9 pups (a big litter but not as big as we had suspected, good ; ) There are 4 boys and 5 girls. Both mum and pups are doing fine. The pups gains weight and it is calm in the pen, everyone seem to be happy and content.

All done....

Food served: )

Don't you want to be in the photo??

Week 1

One week old and the pups are incredible satisfied and contented.  They are gaining weight.  Mum Miisa is wonderful as mum (she is always wonderful says me : ).  She is calm and confident, knows when to clean and to feed, rest of the time she is social and loving. She even thinks she can come and go for a walk with the other dogs, just as usual : ))  She’s in total control.

Am I not adorable??

Nine and so even. Lucky we've marked them with yellow dots so you know which is which : )

Crowded queue to food....

Up

Week 2

Still very calm and quiet and pups are mostly focused about food and sleep : )) But they have all opened their eyes and soon they will learn how to "walk" and then they'll go exploring the world, the big big world : ))

Peek-a-boo??

All the boys and....

all the girls : )

Up

Week 3

All the pups have now got their identification-band. Much easier to keep track of them. Maybe you find a favorite?   They have also got their first toys. They develop so fast now and it is important to provide them with the right kind of challengers : )

Pink girl and Blue/Silver boy

It's nothing, come on, let's play

Week 4

The food is now more ”real”, the playtime is longer and tougher…..It is so fun to have pups….but the cleaning up the several more toilet visits isn’t that fun ; )

Dinner is served. All nine is invited : )

No eating with the "hands"....

First meating.....under mum Miisas supervision ; )

Week 6

The pups are developing and the games are getting tougher and tougher...But pups are very enduring, like a soccerplayer who is kicked down, lays on the ground for a minute, gets up and play the rest of the game.....

Last is a chicken.......

Scored? Group hug......

Need good equipment. Size 37, does it fit me?

Soccer? I thought you meant FOOTBALL...

Aim high, they said......

Up

Week 7

What do you think about a picnic outdoors? Nothing is like fresh air to the appetite ; ) Then some adventure but keep in mind sometime curiosity has it's prize...

So many to the "picnic-buffé"

Taste good?

What's that sound?.....and smell?

Let's have a closer look.

It's only water...

Oops, a bit deeper than the waterbowl ; )

Up

Week 8

Eight weeks have now passed and the pups are leaving us, one by one ; ) It's sad but at the same time nice. The pups are now old enough to start a new adventure.

Mum Miisa saying goodbye to all the pups

But who is interested when you can fight about a toy?

Dad Oban also checking out the pups. Mayby a contestant?
