Newborn (2006-06-17)
On the evening on the 17th of June, Lotje finally got her puppies, 7 boys and 1 girl. Everything went smooth and calm. All are healthy and gaining weight.
Week 1
All puppies are gaining weight and are quiet contented. Mother is doing well and have a lot of "food" to provide the puppies.
Week 2
Now all the pups have open their eyes. The world seem to be so much bigger when more senses are "working". The pups notice at once when you enter the room and starts to walk around without any good balance yet, but that will also improve very soon.
Week 3
Still they spend most of their days sleeping, sleeping, sleeping. But more time are now spend for playing. They also have had their first meal of food. They are not so good in eating, most of the food are put were it shouldn't bee.
Week 4
Now things are happening! The balance is improving and it's easier to discover "the big wolrld" with help of the eyes, ears and mouth. They play much harder. We have been out in the garden in the nice weather. Mum is still the best, she has all the good food.
Week 5
The very nice weather makes it possible for the pups to be outdoors most of the day. The play and have fun, discover new things every day. After the play it's nice to go to sleep in the shadow, nice and cool.
Week 6
Still a beautiful weather and the pups are outdoors most of the day. They play and fool around, eat and sleep, growing and growing. Contact has been made with other adult dogs with varying results. The adult females are interested but the adult males don’t want to be a part of it. They think the pups are a handful. Just like all men ;)
Week 7
Now it's almost to much heat and you can see it even at the pups. They play are more calm during the day but in the mornings and evenings they play more gaily. Enjoy the photos and the videoclips.
